In this project I explore how can unusual material serve as a grid for visual communication. The task here was to create pictograms for Insbruck airport – new building concept from Beta realities. I chose wool as material with long craft tradition in this area, that supports the concept of an all-timber airport designed as a comunity space from locally sourced, deconstructable materials.
